Anne M. Montgomery

Anne Montgomery is a Northwest native who came to Kitsap County in 1992. She graduated from the University of Washington in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and attended the University of Puget Sound School of Law (now Seattle University), graduating in 1993. She worked as a civilian for the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps in Germany and studied business law in Paris.

Anne first came to Ryan Sells Uptegraft, Inc. P.S., as an intern in 1992. She returned as an associate and in 1997 became a partner of the firm. Her practice emphasizes water and wastewater law, employment, probate & estates, dependency & CPS matters, and equine law.

Anne was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 1994 and is admitted to practice in all Washington courts, as well as the Federal District Court. She is an active member of the Lower Puget Sound Dressage Club, which is the local branch of the U.S. Dressage Federation, and also a member of the Kitsap County Boundary Review Board.
